Went to the lake for the first time this year, only to find lots of busted water pipes from the single digit temperatures we had in January. So the poor hubby had his weekend decided for him. Poor guy just did this last year. It was quite an experience having no water all weekend with our granddaughters, Madison & Olivia with us, but we all (except for poor granddad) still had a great time. Madi and Livi's parents and little brother Garrett were at dad's basketball playoff games in Ft. Worth. The Lady Dawgs won their first game but lost the second, very disappointing to be just one game away from the state playoffs and not make it, but they had a great season and every reason to be proud! Congratulations to our son in law T.C. and his girls for a great season.
Not much wildlife out at the lake at this time, but here's some pics of those who came by.

| And this is what we got to come home to ...high winds, blowing dirt, fires, smoke and car accidents cause by low visibility. We were detoured off I-20 for a while because of fires along the highway. All of this made for a tense few hours on the road. |
